Our June 2024 membership meeting (Lunch and Learn) will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at 11:30 am at the Environmental Education Center, 2401 Scott Boulevard SE in Iowa City (shared parking lot with the East Side Recycling Center).
This month, Josh Brand from Standard Pest Control out of Riverside will be presenting on common area insects and pests and how to both keep them from appearing on your property and how to mitigate them when they do. Standard Pest Control has been a staple of the Pest Control business in the Iowa City area for over 20 years. Ran for a couple of decades by Jim Brand, his son Josh Brand took over in March of 2023 and is steering the company into the next few decades.
Please RSVP by Sunday, June 23, 2024 at 5pm at the GICAA website with the number of individuals from your organization who will be attending. Price is $15.00 for lunch in person (cash or check) or $15.50 if you pay online when you register (to cover the online payment fee from our website payment processor). There is a limit of 50 registrations available, as seating is limited at this location. If you do not register and still want to attend, you may have to stand during the presentation and food will not be provided.
