Hello to all our members. As you may be aware from the monthly newsletter and email, our April Membership Meeting is next Tuesday, April 25th at 11:30 am at the Park Lodge at Terry Trueblood Recreation Area.
The CIty of Iowa City's Office of Equity and Human Rights is hosting our meeting this month and is providing complimentary lunch to all attendees. Our speakers will be im Kringlen, Managing Attorney of the Iowa City Regional Office of Iowa Legal Aid and Dan Feltes, Managing Attorney of Iowa Legal Aid’s statewide Fair Housing Project. Kringlen and Feltes will present information on the “Top Ten Illegal Lease Provisions and Fair Housing Law: Highlights and Pitfalls”.
The City is asking for a rough number of attendees so please RSVP no later than noon, this Friday, April 21st. If you are not able to RSVP now, but can still join us, do so. We don't want anyone to feel like they can not attend simply because they were not able to RSVP.
