Since we are still unable to meet in person due to COVID concerns, our monthly member meeting is going to go online this month.
Join us as we welcome Kristin Watson, the Human Rights Investigator for Iowa City's Office of Equity and Human Rights as she meets with us to discuss items of interest and concern involving housing. She will be focusing on ESAs (Emotional Support Animals) and the recent Iowa Supreme Court decision. But, will also be available to answer other questions from members.
Members will be muted during the meeting, but will be available to ask questions in chat, which will be forwarded to our guest speaker by the meeting moderator (which will be a member of the GICAA Board). We also will do have some general housekeeping discussions at the start of the meeting (especially introducing members to our new member management software) and hope to also have a "State of Affairs" message from City officials if possible.
